PAUL ,Maison De Qualite, Bakery and Patisserie.

My review this time is my new favorite bakery and patisserie in Prague, PAUL.

PAUL is a bakery and patisserie from france that is really popular around Europe even the world. originated from small bakery by Charlemagne Mayot and his wife located in Rue de la Mackellerie in Croix near Lille, Northern France 1889. and now become one the most well known French chains in bakery, patisserie, cafe, and restaurant in the world.

First time i went to Paul is sometime in November last year in Prague, i went to the Paul store at Wenceslas Square. i went there with a friend from Indonesia, and we ordered Kosicek Citronovy and Cokoladovo-Pralinkova Rolada.

The Kosicek Citronovy or Tartellete Citron taste amazing. the acidic flavor is not too overpowering, well at least for me, and the shell was great also. and the Chocolate Praline or the Cokoladovo-Pralinkova Rolada is also great but too sweet for me.

That was not my last visit to Paul, i went again many times now. but now a lil bit more for quick meal or breakfast. the sandwiches and quiches is great. My favorite is The Spinach and Leek Quiche and The Mozzarella and Tomatoes Sandwich. they are just amazing. i've tried The Chicken with Dijon Mustard Sandwich but, since i'm not a fan of mustard, i don't really like it. I still go to paul regularly to grab some sandwich or anything they have before i go to my studio in the city center, and in this cold weather hot chocolate from Paul is one of the best things!

There's Paul Bakery and Restaurant in Jakarta, Indonesia as well. Its located in Galeries Lafayette, Ground Floor Pacific Place.  Jl. Jendral Sudirman Kav. 52-53, Jakarta, Indonesia 12190.
