Trdelnik

So, today i was a one-day tour guide for my friends who is coming from Germany and Netherlands. and we went to all city tourist attraction in Prague. first stop, of course, is The Old Town Square. The Old Town Square is the number one tourist spot in prague. you can see the astronomical clock, mucha exhibition, and its also close to the other tourist spot like The Wenceslas Square or The Charles Bridge.

Since its close to christmas, there's a christmas market in The Old Town Square. there's a lot of souvenir vendors and also street food vendors. so, while waited for my friends to looking around the christmas market and shop, i decided to buy a Trdelnik.

Trdelnik is on of the most famous street food in Czech Republic. Trdlenik is a  sweet cylindrical pastry that covered with sugar and walnut. its originally coming from Szekely Land Transylvania and also part of the culinary culture in Austria, Slovakia, Poland, etc with different ways of cooking and names.  Trdelnik costs about 60 czk in Prague. it's about 36.000 Rupiah.

Trdelnik is made by rolled dough that wrapped around metal stick and then they grilled it and rolled it in sugar and walnut mix, it tastes soft on the inside and a little bit crunchy on the outside. really tasty!! if you have a chance to go to Prague, it's a must try pastry!
